Barbarian Path of the Banderhobb

$0.00

Barbarians that take up the Path of the Banderhobb are often silly, jovial and less dour compared to their more brutal peers. Make no mistake, though: these warriors are just as capable as their fearsome namesake. Known for their toad-like transformations and majestic tongues, they are a mighty force when necessary.

These barbarians might have received their abilities from the very hags that create the monstrous creatures, from an encounter with a banderhobb or any number of ways in which a creature might develop such powers.

3rd-level Path oft he Banderhobb feature

When you enter your rage, you can transform, harnessing the power of the banderhobb. Until the rage ends, you manifest a natural tongue weapon. Your size becomes large, and you take on physical characteristics of the banderhobb including toad-like eyes, an enormous mouth and a big belly.

As a bonus action, you can make a special tongue attack. It counts as a simple melee weapon for you, and you add your Strength modifier to the attack and damage rolls when you attack with it, as normal. It has a reach of 10 feet and deals 1d6 necrotic damage on a hit. When you hit a medium or smaller creature with this attack, you can force it to make a Strength saving throw or be moved within 5 feet of you. The DC is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.
