The Banderborn Race

$0.00

Banderhobbs are powerful creatures summoned into existence by hags to perform nefarious deeds. Wanting to create a better life for the Banderhobbs, a benevolent witch conjured the Banderborn into existence. These smaller toad-like creatures gained the ability to speak, an extended lifespan and free will, compared to their Banderhobb cousins.

While still few in numbers, the Banderborn tend to keep to the shadows of the forests and avoid large cities. Banderborn are typically cheery and friendly, despite their origin. They often end up protecting nature, gardening and enjoy singing to bunnies.

However, if you get between a Banderborn and its food, you may find yourself in its jaws instead - luckily for you, most Banderborn are vegetarians and love cheese, cucumbers and bread.

Banderbite

Your oversized bite is a natural weapon, which counts as a simple melee weapon with which you are proficient. You add your Strength modifier to the attack and damage rolls when you attack with this bite. It deals 1d6 piercing damage on a hit.

When you attack with this bite and hit a medium or smaller creature, you can choose to grapple the creature. Until the grapple ends, you can’t use your bite attack on another target.

You can grapple creatures this way a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
